Evergreen Community Church began in 1994 with two hundred and fifty believers as a plant from another Seattle area church. Evergreen was founded and led by senior pastor Mark Morrison for its first 13 years. The church has grown in membership, raised funds and moved into its own facilities on a 7.5 acre property in Bothell, WA.
In 2007, Mark felt called to his next kingdom assignment and a former associate, Paul Walterman, has served as senior pastor since that time. The Evergreen Board, looking after the long term leadership needs of the body and working in concert with Paul, has agreed to seek leadership for the next decade of Evergreen’s journey.
We are searching for the individual whom God has called to lead Evergreen for the next season, growing the church body in numbers and strength, and expanding God’s kingdom in Bothell and beyond.
